Adamant Premium Test Winner
In March, IMTEST, the German consumer magazine of the Funke Mediagroup, carried out a frying pan test involving several high end brands. Among others, the main criteria analyzed were the non stick coating performances, frying results, weight, handling, time to heat, heat distribution. The test result was published on April 15th and adamant® premium emerged as the test winner thanks to the good heat distribution, safe handling and its hard coating.
Five pans were tested:
adamant® premium by Fissler, Cornelia Poletto by Zwilling, Induction Enduro by Berndes, PermaDur Advance by WMF and Excellence by Tefal.
The IMTEST conclusion
The test revealed that the non‐stick coatings of the frying pans still worked well or very well, even when worn. Although the 'Adamant Premium' frying pan by Fissler is the heaviest of all the tested models, it wins overall. Features, robustness, frying and heat conductivity properties of this model are almost very good. The comparatively soft coating of the Tefal and the Zwilling pan have to be handled with extra care. The other three are more robust. Due to this feature and due to its good heat conductivity, the 'Induction Enduro' by Berndes wins the recommendation of best value for money.
